When and where is Africa Tech Festival?
expand_moreAfrica Tech Festival will take place November 11-13, 2025 in Cape Town and is hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

Please note: Some features such as AFEST, the Africa Tech Festival Awards and partner-run events will be hosted outside the CTICC.
How do I access the main venue?

What are the operating hours of the exhibition?
expand_moreExhibition opens from 10am to 6pm on 11-12 November 2025.
Exhibition opens from 10am to 4.30pm on 13 November 2025.

How do I access my sponsor / exhibitor portal and process staff / guest registrations?

Which pass is right for me?

How do I reset my password?
expand_moreGo to https://atf.informafestivals.com/2025/registrations, enter your email address, click “Submit” and “Reset Password”. Follow the steps to reset your password.
Why am I not receiving registration or password reset emails?
expand_moreEmails may be filtered or sent to your junk folder. Add info@africatechfestival.com to your contact list and ensure that your organization allows emails from this address.
How do I change my personal information?
expand_moreLog in to your registration account and click “Edit Profile” to make changes to your personal information. Please note that you cannot change your primary email address. Contact the Registration Team if you need additional assistance.
I have a promo code. How do I use it?
expand_moreIf you have received a promo code, log in to your registration account to complete registration.
Choose your pass type and then enter your code. The discount will automatically be deducted from your total payment.
My promo code does not work. What should I do?
expand_moreIf you received a code that does not work, please contact the person or company that sent you the code to issue you a new code.
How do I upgrade my pass?

How much does it cost to attend?

Payments, Substitutions & Refunds
What forms of payment are accepted?
expand_morePayment can be made by American Express, Mastercard, or Visa.
We do not accept cash payments.
Where can I find my invoice or receipt?
expand_moreYou will receive a Registration Confirmation from info@africatechfestival.com that includes the details of your payment.
What are the Cancellation / Refund / Substitution policies?
expand_moreYou will receive a refund of your fees if you cancel your registration 57 days or more before Africa Tech Festival, subject to an administration charge equivalent to 10% of the total amount of your fees plus Taxes (if applicable). Informa regrets that the full amount of your fee remains payable if your cancellation is 56 days or less before the event or if you fail to attend the event. If a cancellation changes the entitlement to a multi-registration discount, the lowest value registration will be cancelled first.
No cancellations are accepted once any part of a single or multi registration party has accessed the pre-Event networking or partnering facilities, applications or platforms, including the event app.
Substitutions with employees from your organisation are welcome at any time but in all other respects delegate registrations are issued for your personal use only and cannot be shared with any person during the event. You may not purchase registrations as agent for any third party, sell or otherwise transfer your registration to others, or exploit the registration commercially or non-commercially in any way.

Visa Information
Do I need a visa to enter South Africa?

How do I get a Visa Invitation Letter?
expand_moreInforma can provide you with a visa invitation letter to submit with your visa application, should it be required. You can request the letter during registration or by logging back in to your registration account. Your registration must be complete, and paid in full if required, before your visa invitation letter is issued.
Informa / Africa Tech Festival do not take responsibility for the issuance of visas. We are unable to assist with visa applications beyond the issuance of the visa invitation letter.
VIP / Speaker / Press
I applied for a VIP pass. What happens next?
expand_moreOnce you submit your application, you will receive an email confirming your request. You will be notified within 5 business days by email regarding the status of your request.
I am a Speaker. How do I register?
expand_moreIf you have been confirmed as a Speaker you will receive an email invitation from info@africatechfestival.com with instructions to register. To enquire about Speaker opportunities, contact info@africatechfestival.com
I am a member of the Press / Content Creator. How do I apply for accreditation?
expand_moreClick here to apply for a Press or Creator Pass. You will be notified within 5 business days by email of the status of your application.
Accessibility & Onsite
What are the age requirements to access the event?
expand_moreThe minimum age for entry is 16 years old. The organisers reserve the right at any time, without liability, to restrict entry to anyone under the age of 16 years old.

How do I request additional accessibility needs to participate in this event?
expand_morePlease contact the Registration Team to let us know what you need to participate fully in this event. We will make every effort to accommodate all requests and will update you by email. To ensure that we have time to review your enquiry, please register and make your request by 24 October, 2025.
How do I collect my badge at the CTICC?
expand_moreYour badge collection QR code will be sent by email starting the week of 27 October, 2025. Once you arrive onsite at the event, scan the QR code at a Badge Collection kiosk at the CTICC to collect your badge. You can also scan the Check-in QR code in the event app to collect your badge.
