As Chief Information Security Officer of the Western Cape Government (WCG) my primary role is to continually improve the cybersecurity management ecosystem to support the digital transformation journey and ultimately build trust with our citizens through the protection of confidentiality, integrity and availability of WCG infrastructure, applications, systems, and information. Furthermore, I oversee the Cybersecurity strategy to protect all the digital assets and ensure prompt response to security incidents to safeguard the WCG from threats and breaches.
