Thrive Africa

Profile

Thrive-Africa Foundation addresses the needs of disadvantaged and poverty stricken communities, by interacting with the community and providing services that will assist in aiding the community in addressing these needs. Our main focus is on grassroots, in order to provide a solid foundation for growth and development. However, this in no way negates the fact that assistance is needed at all levels or that these levels of need are neglected.

COVID-19 has highlighted many discrepancies and disadvantages that our poverty stricken communities face, from disadvantages within our education system, lack of reading literacy and computer literacy, social skills and development and lack of access to the internet which many of us take for granted.

In our present focus community, the Khomanisan, we are bound to concentrate on education, literacy, social development, social responsibility, social skills and adult literacy and up-skilling. Each disadvantaged community has its own set of challenges. It is part of our service to identify these challenges and to address them, with the assistance from the community.

THRIVE Africa Foundation stands for Technology, Health, Resources, Innovation, Vision and Education. It is within these parameters that we operate, to the best of our ability, bringing positive change and growth to our poor communities. Through the use of volunteers we can offer various aid to bring about positive change and growth to these communities.
