DigiYouth Africa

Profile

DigiYouth Africa is a Non-Profit Organisation born out of a desire to do one thing. To provide the best innovative solutions to one of the biggest challenges of our time, youth unemployment.

Founded in South Africa we stand behind the spirit of Ubuntu, which means “I am because You are.”

Our mission is ambitious but essential: Unleash Africa’s youth potential by equipping them with world-class digital skills and access to meaningful tech careers. Through high school outreach, workshops, tech hubs and township entrepreneurial support focused on foundational tech skills and the possibilities of AI, we spark curiosity and open doors to a world many may have never considered.

Our Work

Our workshops introduce students to technology and AI and soft skills, helping them build foundational skills and explore career paths in this field.

To empower educators, we offer practical training on using AI and improving computer literacy to enhance the effectiveness of their teaching.

To support young adults (ages 18–35), our programs focus on essential skills such as computer literacy, financial and digital literacy, soft skills, and adapting to professional work environments—providing them with a strong foundation for success in any career.

We also support township entrepreneurs with training in business administration, digital and financial skills, and market access, empowering them to grow their businesses and strengthen communities.’
