The Community is the first and only peer-to-peer lending platform in Sierra Leone, developed by ConNet SL Limited, a registered and regulated financial service under the oversight of the Bank of Sierra Leone. The platform bridges the credit gap by directly connecting everyday borrowers with lenders, making access to quick, hassle-free loans possible while enabling lenders to earn passive income.

Since inception, The Community has disbursed over $94,000 in loans, with more than 43% successfully repaid to lenders. By focusing on the informal sector, where traditional financial services are often inaccessible, The Community is driving financial inclusion and providing innovative solutions tailored to the realities of Sierra Leone’s economy.

Currently, users access the platform through our website integrated with a loan management system. Our mobile app is in testing and is expected to launch by Q3 2025, further expanding accessibility and impact.
